Compassionate Care That Honors Who You Are

Neurodiversity-Affirming Therapy

Neurodiversity-affirming therapy is designed to support people of all neurotypes, whether or not they have a formal diagnosis. Our work focuses on understanding your unique patterns of thinking, feeling, and relating to the world—rather than fitting you into a predefined category.

A diagnosis can be a helpful tool for some, but it is not required to begin or benefit from therapy. We center your lived experience, strengths, and goals, and use that as the foundation for our work together.

What Is Neurodiversity-Affirming Therapy?

Neurodiversity-affirming therapy is an approach that recognizes natural variations in how people think, process, communicate, and experience the world. Rather than viewing these differences as deficits to “fix,” this approach fully supports individuals in understanding themselves and navigating their environments in ways that feel sustainable and authentic.

This means:

  • Honoring your natural ways of thinking and processing

  • Collaborating rather than prescribing

  • Adapting strategies to fit you—not the other way around

  • Supporting both challenges and strengths

Who We Help

You do not need a label or diagnosis to receive support here—just a desire for things to feel more manageable, meaningful, or aligned.
We work with children, teens, families, and adults  across a wide range of neurotypes and life experiences, including:

  • Attention and focus differences (including ADHD)

  • Autistic individuals and those exploring autism

  • Other neurodevelopmental differences

  • Learning differences such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dyspraxia

  • Gifted and twice-exceptional (2e) individuals

  • Anxiety and chronic stress

  • Depression, bipolar, and other mood-related experiences

  • Anyone feeling misunderstood, overwhelmed, or out of sync in traditional environments

Neurodiversity-affirming therapy is inclusive by design—it supports people across a wide range of cognitive and emotional styles, whether or not they have a diagnosis. Our approach is not about reducing people to labels, but about understanding how these experiences show up in your life and supporting you in ways that feel practical, respectful, and sustainable.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
